New Shoes

I have seen the same prophetic vision back-to-back in the past two weekend services. While we were worshiping, I saw a neatly dressed man from the waist down. He was swiftly walking through a thin layer of mud. It immediately struck me that there was no mud on his shoes. They were, in fact, neatly shined. Even though he walked through the mud across the full width of my vision, it did not stick to his shoes.

After the second viewing of this vision, I heard the Lord speak, saying, "Many keep looking back over their shoulder seeing muddy tracks behind them, after going through the muck and mire of life. Much of their life is lived in regret and shame. My answer for this", the Lord said, "is to invite every generation to do as Moses did, when he saw the burning bush. Moses heard the divine invitation to remove his shoes, that were soiled with the residue of a life filled with shame and much regret. He was to exchange the old shoes for holy shoes."

"Holy shoes are what Moses slipped his feet into, as he stepped out of the shoes of his own humanity. I desired to set him on a different track...and different way...a different life. As he heard the cries of My people, his response was to step into these holy shoes and walk away with an encounter he never forgot."

This word and vision has come at a very strategic time in the Western Church. We have more resources, money, librairies, etc., but our effectiveness is at an all-time low. If we hear the Lord in this vision and word, we'll know that it falls to us to respond differently than any other time in our lives. Many continue to weep over repeated sin. Is it possible that our less than pro-active approach to sharing the Gospel here in America has led to the place of drowning in a life of selfishness.

If we were to set our gaze upon the victorious, risen Christ and, like Moses, hear the bleeting cries of those in need, maybe our eyes would not be tempted to look over our shoulders anymore... searching for soiled footsteps. Remember what Jesus said, "No man, having placing his hands to the plow and looking back is worthy of the Kingdom of God." That's a strong statement.

Please take some time to consider this vision and word. It could change your life and set you own the course needed to fulfill your destiny. See you there!

The Holy Merger

It appears that God has given us a kingdom buzz word, which identifies a very dynamic thing He's doing these days. We're talking about "The Holy Merger", the merging of: worship, intercession and the prophetic! What an awesome day you and I live in! We are seeing the Tabernacle of David being rebuilt and re-living it's life-giving, life-changing oasis in the middle of the desert of darkness.

In the next few months, there will be much more to come regarding the "Holy Merger", as the Holy Spirit defines it from God's perspective. The "Knowledge of the Holy" is increasing and God's presence continus to increase as well. Shall we expect less? I think not. For the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will fill the earth in these last days. It is true that "gross darkness continues to cover the earth". Such as it was in Jesus' day, but this did not hinder Him from being the Light that He said we were/are too.

There is even a re-alignment coming to what we call "modern worship". Devotional worship is not the pinnacle of the worship experience. Nor can we stand before our pre-described veils and worship like He is on the other side. Like Moses, we must be willing to go beyond the veil of any and all limitations to meet face-to-face with God. It is there that we will encounter the God we've been waiting for. Actually, He's been waiting on us. See you there!

Round The Corner

The Dream

I was standing behind a person and watching them proceed to walk down a hallway, which seemed to have an institutional feel to it. On my right was a couple of doors that were army green in color, with porch-style lights by each of them. The hallway was lit, but I don't remember the porch-style lights being illuminated.

Approximately 15-20 feet in front of us was a ninety degree turn to the left. It was odd to see the hand rail on the left side, instead of the right. Normally, hallway traffic stays to the right so that people do not collide. As this person slowly moved toward the corner, the hand rail began to rattle. The hand rail was not loose. The emotion felt was reluctance and fear of the unknown. As the dream came to a close, the person never moved past the corner.

As we go into the New Year, we must not fear the unknown. Like the Book of Acts Church, we must be baptized with holy boldness and move forward. Whatever is around the corner is the next phase of God's destiny-vision. Fear must be replaced by faith, regardless of what rattles.
